Eva Podcast S1 Ep9: Smart Scheduling
Welcome to the Eva Podcast where we discuss all things Health Information Technology (HIT) in relation to running an independent outpatient medical practice.
In today’s episode, we speak with Nathan Armstrong, COO of Eva Health about Smart Scheduling. Nathan’s long career in IT has dipped in and out of the medical industry over the past sixteen years. In this timeframe, he has developed not only a diverse skillset but also a deeply rooted passion for helping people. When you combine passion with an impressive collection of applicable skills the result is groundbreaking.
Nathan talks to us about Smart Scheduling, what it is, and why it is important for patient outcomes and practice success. Smart scheduling seems to be a buzzword for medical software companies. Generally, it’s about automating some of the scheduling processes, including patient communications. While automation can be helpful, we do not believe automating a calendar is enough at Eva Health. Eva smart scheduling is an active collaboration between smart medical software and medical staff. If your software “knows” what each visit entails your scheduler can really begin to engage in a smart scheduling process.
