Responsible Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Eva Podcast S2 Ep5: Responsible Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

In today’s episode, we speak with Dr.James Mahoney, physician and founder of Eva, about responsible artificial intelligence in healthcare.

As the news of ChatGPT passing the medical board spreads across the nation, healthcare professionals are beginning to explore the idea of artificial intelligence in medicine. The use of artificial intelligence in healthcare is not a new area of research and development. Google and IBM have been exploring and creating artificial intelligence tools for healthcare for many years. Often these larger institutions are focusing on the use of AI to assign disease processes to patients – diagnose patients. These organizations are also focusing on the development of AI tools for hospitals and big healthcare companies. At Eva, we’ve been working with and developing responsible artificial intelligence tools to support medical providers and their teams in small independent clinics.

In today’s episode, we will explore the idea of responsible artificial intelligence in healthcare and what this looks like inside independent cash-based medical practices. What if there was a tool that helped medical providers capture and document large amounts of patient data? Would patients have better outcomes? Would doctors have more opportunities to develop trusting relationships with their patients? We believe a thorough and accurate patient interview utilizing responsible artificial intelligence is the key to successful patient outcomes, so we created Eva. Eva is responsible AI that captures and documents large amounts of patient data for medical providers to utilize in finalizing their diagnoses and treatment plans.
